Hi PugalMaran,

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this.

That error is caused by the Synaptics App for your touchpad on your laptop, the best option would be to completely uninstall that Synaptics app from the Settings App, restart your PC, then go to the Microsoft Store to download and install the latest version of that app.

Hi Pugal Maran,

Thank you for that information, your system is fully up to date.

1
Open the Store App, in Windows 10, not in a web browser

At the top right of the Store App, click the 3 dots and on the resulting menu, choose to update all Store Apps.

Close the Store App

2
Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Update and Security - Troubleshoot

Click 'Show Additional Troubleshooters'

Run the Windows Update troubleshooter from the resulting page

Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter from the resulting page

Restart (not shut down) your PC.

Hi Pugal Maran,

Okay, if that latest cumulative update caused the problem, then it may be best to uninstall that to see if that resolves the problem.

Hi Puga Maran,

If you completely uninstall that Synaptics app, and do not re-install it, do you still get an error?
